Wolves players will wear commemorative Fight Against Cancer jerseys on January 16, 17, and 31. The jerseys will be auctioned and raffled with proceeds benefiting cancer-related charities and Chicago Wolves Charities.
Defenseman Brent Sopel will wear a different jersey for each of the Fight Against Cancer games. Having three separate jerseys helps raise more money for Chicago Wolves Charities and allows the Wolves family to do everything we can to benefit those affected by cancer and their families.
The Wolves will raffle one of Sopel's three jerseys, along with three of his teammates’ jerseys, during the three-game event. The three players will be David Shields, Philip McRae, and Yannick Veilleux.
More details will follow closer to the event.
